Danish govt says 99% of premises to have minimum 100 Mbps by mid-2020s

Tuesday 13 April 2021 | 14:54 CET | News
The Danish Energy Authority said that by the middle of the 2020s, only 1 percent of homes and business in Denmark will be left without internet service at a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps and minimum upload speed of 30 Mbps. This works out at between 22,000 and 26,000 addresses. The exclusion rate falls from 6 percent in 2020, with 4,000-5,000 more addresses connected since last year as fibre deployment continues.
