The Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) said that by the middle of 2012, 65 percent of homes and businesses in Denmark were able to access broadband at a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps, compared with 38 percent last year. By 01 August, there was 99 percent outdoor mobile telephony coverage in 477 of the country's 586 postal codes, according to studies by the Trade and Growth Ministry, of which the authority is part. Reception quality varies, sometimes depending on the model of phone used and the provider.
