DeTe names former Astra MD as TV head

Deutsche Telekom has appointed the former managing director of Astra Deutschland Wolfgang Elsasser as the head of its new TV business unit. Elsasser will oversee the expansion of the Telekom's new Entertain TV platform, as well as the further development of its video business. Until 1 May 2016, Elsasser was the managing director at Astra Deutschland. He has also previously worked at Grundig and Premiere (now Sky Deutschland).
