DeTe not interested in 75/25 FTTH jv with United Internet - CEO

Deutsche Telekom is not interested in a German fibre joint venture with United Internet taking only 25 percent, according to DT CEO Tim Hoettges during an analyst call Q3 results. Hoettges said that his proposal to set up a joint venture to deploy FTTH in Berlin, a rural area in Thuringa and a part of the Ruhr region in Western Germany was based on the availability of United Internet's own infrastructure via Versatel as well as a 50/50 division of costs and risk sharing, as the difference in market shares in those regions is fairly small.
