DeTe registers large increase in cyberattacks on critical infrastructure

Deutsche Telekom has recorded a "massive increase" in cyber-attacks on its critical infrastructure over the past year, reported German daily Tagesspiegel. The company resisted more than 15 million attacks within a 24-hour period for the first time in the beginning of June, said Deutsche Telekom's head of security Dirk Backofen during the Potsdam Conference for National Cyber Security.
