DeTe to launch m-payments app in Romania in 2014

German group Deutsche Telekom will launch in 2014 a mobile application that will enable people in Romania to make payments directly from their phones, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing board member responsible for Europe Claudia Nemat. She was speaking during a press conference which was held in Poland's capital Warsaw. The mobile app will be called 'My Wallet' and will be linked to users' bank cards. Deutsche Telekom is present in Romania through Romtelecom thanks to its role as a shareholder in Greek operator OTE. Cosmote Romania, which is part of the DT-owned Cosmote Group,
