Deutsche Bahn looks for telecoms partner to expand fibre network - report

Deutsche Bahn is currently looking for a partner in the telecommunications industry to help it expand its fibre-optic grid running alongside the railway network, reports golem.de. Deutsche Bahn wants to utilise shafts running alongside tens of thousands of kilometres of its railway tracks by having them play a role in Germany's broadband roll-out, said the news portal.
