Deutsche Bahn starts mobile app ticket check-in

Wednesday 2 August 2017 | 16:03 CET | News
German rail operator Deutsche Bahn has started testing mobile check-in on selected routes. In the Deutsche Bahn app, customers can validate their ticket after taking their seat in the train. The information is then sent to the conductor's handheld terminal, so s/he does not have to ask the customer for his/her ticket. The 'Comfort Check-in' option is available to start for reserved seats on the Stuttgart-Essen and Dortmuind-Stuttgart routes, DPA reported.
