Deutsche Bahn tests permeable panes on trains to improve mobile reception

The German railway company Deutsche Bahn is testing permeable panes on windows to improve mobile coverage on trains, board member for digitisation and technology Sabina Jeschke told WiWo.de. The new technology would replace signal amplifiers. Mobile radio waves should simply go through the glass.
