Deutsche Bahn to use app, booking system to limit number of passengers on trains - report

Monday 25 May 2020 | 12:25 CET | News
German railway company Deutsche Bahn plans to use its app, Navigator, and the booking page to control the number of passengers on trains to keep containing the spread of Covid-19, Der Spiegel reports citing sources. The company has reworked the app and its website in the past few weeks so that users will soon be able to check whether trains have already reached 50 percent or more of their capacity. This should give them the option to book less crowded trains and at the same time, avoid a high number of people in carriages.
