Deutsche Glasfaser connects 50,000 homes to FTTH networks

German FTTH network operator Deutsche Glasfaser has reached its target of connecting 50,000 households to FTTH networks. This means that more than 150,000 residents are now supplied over its networks, which are built and operated in mainly rural areas in North Rhine Westphalia, Schleswig-Holstein, Bavaria and Lower Saxony. By end-2014, 100,000 households will be connected to Deutsche Glasfaser networks.
