Deutsche Glasfaser gets EUR 82 mln subsidies to expands fibre in Spree-Neiss district

Deutsche Glasfaser said it has signed a partnership agreement with the district of Spree-Neiss in Brandenburg for fibre expansion. The company plans to connect over 6,500 households, more than 500 companies and 37 schools in Burg (Spreewald), Doebern, Forst (Lausitz), Spremberg, Neuhausen, Welzow, Peitz, Schenkendoebern and Drebkau to fibre. The government and the federal state of Brandenburg fund the expansion with EUR 82 million in subsidies.
