Deutsche Glasfaser opens new HQ in Borken

Deutsche Glasfaser has opened its new headquarters in Borken. The Minister of Economic Affairs for North Rhine Westphalia, Garrelt Duin was at the opening and praised the company's plans to bring fibre networks to rural areas. Deutsche Glasfaser, started in 2012, already reaches 275,000 homes and plans to invest around EUR 1.5 billion in expansion of its network for homes and businesses. Uwe Nickl, Managing Director of Deutsche Glasfaser said he supports a dialogue with the government to help achieve its aims of economic development.
