Deutsche Glasfaser picks Verimatrix to secure TV service

German FTTH network operator Deutsche Glasfaser has deployed the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS). Verimatrix announced that it will provide enhanced revenue security for its linear TV, radio, video-on-demand and multi-screen services. The new service will offer subscribers around 100 SD, 50 HD and 100 radio channels. The technology is deployed via fibre network featuring the HTTP Live Streaming protocol. It can be accessed through the Abox42 model M20 set-top box, game consoles, Android and iOS-based phones and tablets, PCs, Macs and connected TVs. The new services will
