Deutsche Glasfaser revenues up, homes activated grow to almost 100,000 in 2017

German fibre network operator Deutsche Glasfaser saw its revenues grow by almost 56% during 2017 to EUR 39.9 million due to a growing number of homes activated on its fibre networks, according to its annual report recently deposited at the German trade register. At the same time, the operating loss increased by 12.3 percent to EUR 20.5 million due to higher personnel costs and higher depreciation as more fibre networks have been rolled out. Deutsche Glasfaser's EBITDA loss of EUR 5.7 million dropped by almost 37 percent compared with 2016 and the net loss increased by 7.2 percent to EUR 42.4
