Deutsche Telekom acquires TV rights for international basketball

Deutsche Telekom announced a five-year contract with the World Basketball Federation FIBA to show live matches over its TV service Entertain, as well as on its sports website and mobile app. The contract begins with the European Basketball Championship 2017, which takes place 31 August to 17 September in Israel. All games of the German national team will be available to watch on Telekom's services free.
