Deutsche Telekom boosts security studies at Leipzig college

Deutsche Telekom said it is bestowing its University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig (HfTL) with a chair of data protection and information security. As well as getting a new professor, the university will expand its study and research areas and will adapt qualifications from the winter 2015/2016 term. Staff will receive further qualifications in response to market demands. In particular, the university will look at three questions: How can society be encouraged to pay greater consideration to data protection in their working and private lives?
