Deutsche Telekom launches e-mobility M2M services

Deutsche Telekom has signed a partnership agreement with producer of disability vehicles e-bility. Telekom will contribute its M2M and cloud services to offer vehicle connectivity for people with disabilities. The companies have introduced several products at the Intermot trade fair in Cologne. Customers can now purchase a new battery pack for electric scooters with power for up to 120 kilometres. They also launched an application for smartphones that shows the battery status with a remote connection to the vehicle.
