Deutsche Telekom presents new Speedbox LTE router

Deutsche Telekom has presented a new LTE router for home networks at CeBIT 2012, teltarif.de reports. The new Telekom Speedbox LTE router is made by Huawei and operates in the 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz frequencies. It supports download and upload rates of up to 100 Mbps and 50 Mbps respectively. If no LTE network is available, the router connects via HSPA+, EDGE or GPRS to the internet. It will be available from April or May without a contract for EUR 149.95.
