Deutsche Telekom price drop does not distort competition

The German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) has ruled that the reduction in Deutsche Telekom's Magenta tariffs benefit of end-consumer and do not distort competition. In order to prevent any possible harm to competition, BNetzA will continue to watch tariff developments. Deutsche Telekom first temporarily reduced the monthly fees for the tariffs MagentaZuhause M at 50 Mbps and MagentaZuhause L at 100 Mbps by EUR 5 in selected cities. Competing providers complained that they could not offer these tariffs in a cost-effective manner. As a result, the BNetzA's responsible Ruling Chamber 2
