The development of the 'Corona App' by Deutsche Telekom and SAP will have a cost of around EUR 20 million, Heise Online reported citing government sources. In addition, operating costs of between EUR 2.5 million to 3.5 million per month will have to be added, the majority of which covers the operation of two hotlines by Deutsche Telekom. Through the hotlines, people can get help with installing and using the app and an activation code if the result of their virus test is positive. The service should be available in German, English and Turkish.
