Deutsche Telekom showcases standardized NETCONF/Yang proof-of-concept for network management

Deutsche Telekom has showcased for the first time the Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) and modeling language Yang proof-of-concept for network management built on standardized APIs and data models at the Broadband Forum in Warsaw, Poland. Telekom aims to standardise the application to build automated networks at scale. The proof-of-concept enables faster time-to-market for new services, increases efficiency and lower operating costs.
