Deutsche Telekom, Siemens partner on industrial digitisation

Deutsche Telekom has signed a three-year research partnership with Siemens. The cooperation is aimed at speeding up industrial digitisation in Europe, T-Systems sales chief Hagen Rickmann told Handelsblatt. Three Siemens locations have been securely networked to support real-time communication. The project is part of the German industrial charter 'Industry 4.0' aimed at increasing use of digital technologies in the economy.
