Deutsche Telekom has signed a digital pact with the state of Saxony-Anhalt to intensify their cooperation, with a particular focus on structural changes in the southern region. Under the agreement, Telekom will continue to expand broadband and mobile networks, connect schools to fibre-optic cable, take part in projects through university cooperation, support digitisation projects by municipalities, and 5G development, in particular in the southern region of the state. In return, the state of Saxony-Anhalt provides an appropriate framework to install mobile sites, and simplifies funding and
