Deutsche Telekom supports new Catena-X alliance for data sharing in automotive industry

Deutsche Telekom said the Automotive Alliance is changing its name to Catena-X Automotive Network (Catena-X), which plans to organise itself as a registered association in Germany.  The partners have agreed to use the International Data Spaces (IDS) standard for data sovereignty, which is also the foundation for the European cloud data infrastructure GAIA-X, in order to put in place the infrastructure for upcoming projects.
