Deutsche Telekom tells Nokia to improve 5G performance in light of Huawei restriction - report

Deutsche Telekom has told Nokia improve its products and service in order to become a supplier of equipment for its 5G network, in light of possible restrictions imposed on Huawei, Reuters reported, citing internal documents. According to the documents, dating from July to December 2019, Deutsche Telekom considered Nokia the worst performers among all suppliers in 5G tests. However, it has decided to give the company another chance after receiving "assurances" that it would improve its performance.
