The town of Markkleeberg in the German state of Saxony is set to become Deutsche Telekom's latest "flagship project" for fibre-optic internet, said municipal authorities from Markkleeberg. Telekom will be running a demand marketing campaign for FTTH connections from February to 02 May 2018 with the aim of getting 500 households to sign up for high-speed internet with the company.
