Deutsche Telekom to reach 90% of NRW population with 5G by end-2022

Deutsche Telekom said it plans to reach 90 percent of the population in North Rhine-Westphalia with 5G by the end of 2022 from a current 80 percent. Telekom already operates more than 6,700 mobile sites in North Rhine-Westphalia and runs 4,200 5G sites across Germany's most populous state. The final goal is to have extensive as possible 5G coverage by the end of 2024.
