Deutsche Telekom to spin off IoT ops, provide new platform in H2

Deutsche Telekom said it will launch an open platform for the Internet of Things in the second half of this year. The company will spin off the IoT business into the Deutsche Telekom IoT GmbH, an independent company within the group, to accelerate its market entry in the IoT segment.
