Deutsche Telekom wants 70% higher LLU fees - VATM

Monday 16 June 2008 | 08:40 CET | News
The German federation of alternative telecom operators VATM criticises Deutsche Telekom's new proposal for LLU fees, which are 70 percent higher than the current fees. According to VATM director Juergen Gruetzne, the proposed LLU fees are much higher than the actual costs Deutsche Telekom makes for unbundling the local loop. He called on the German telecommunications regulator to reject the proposal and instead decrease LLU fees to the actual cost level, which should be lower than the current LLU fees as Deutsche Telekom has been successful with its cost-cutting program.
