Deutsche Telekom wins tender for broadband upgrade in Spreewald

Deutsche Telekom announced it has won the public tender to upgrade the three districts in Germany's Spreewald region with high-speed internet. Over 3,000 households and businesses in the districts of Dahme-Spreewald, Oberspreewald-Lausitz and Spree-Neisse will have access to broadband with speeds up to 100 Mbps by Q2 2018, and 11,000 households and business in the entire Spreewald region are expected to have access to 100 Mbps by Q3 2019.
