Devicescape's UK network passes 500,000 access points

Wednesday 10 February 2016 | 11:00 CET | News
Devicescape confirmed that its UK Curated Virtual Network (CVN) of amenity Wi-Fi has reached over 500,000 access points as of December 2015, up more than twofold from a year earlier. The UK CVN was launched in February 2014 with 17,500 access points, and had reached 215,000 APs as of February 2015. One key factor in the growth of the network has been a steady rise in the number of Devicescape-enabled smartphones within the Virgin Media customer base.
