Devolo, Postbank launch smart energy financing offer

Networking equipment provider Devolo has partnered with German bank Postbank to offer leasing finance for the roll-out of intelligent measurement systems on electricity grids. Under the offer, electricity network providers could purchase devolo smart measurement systems or components on a leasing basis for a term of eight years. As such, companies can avoid high initial investments and incorporate the cost of the roll-out into ongoing operating expenses, according to devolo.
