Digi International Q3 revenue grows, net profit falls

US M2M specialist Digi International reported revenue of USD 48.8 million for its third fiscal quarter to 30 June, up 2.5 percent from USD 47.6 million in Q3 2012. Revenue from growth products and services, including USD 3.4 million of revenue from Etherios' consulting services, grew 10.6 percent to USD 27.5 million, while revenue from mature products decreased 6.4 percent to USD 21.3 million. Revenues from North America increased 9.9 percent to USD 30.4 million and EMEA revenues went down by 4.8 percent to USD 11.4 million. Revenue in the Asian countries fell by 8.1 percent to USD 5.9
