Digicel Dominica launches 4G after network upgrade

Tuesday 15 January 2019 | 17:36 CET | News
Digicel has finally launched a full 4G LTE service on the island after completely upgrading its network in the wake of the damage caused by category 5 Hurricane Maria in 2017, reports news portal Da Vibes, citing the company's CEO Nikima Royer-Jno Baptiste. "We are grateful to our customers for their patience during the network upgrades and we promise that the experience will be second to none," said the chief executive, adding that customers will have to request a new SIM to access the improved service.
