Digicel Papua New Guinea starts SIM registration in July

Digicel Papua New Guinea says it will monitor all its subscribers starting in July, following abuse of its communication services. The National Information and Communication Technology Authority's (NICTA's) CEO Charles Punaha cited Digicel PNG as saying that it will start the registration process come early July across the country, The National reported. The aim is to establish the identity of SIM users. Punaha said an awareness campaign would be carried out prior to the registrations.
