'DigiNet' law passed to launch Gigabit society

The German Cabinet has agreed on a draft for a 'DigiNet' law, which aims to open up existing and planned infrastructure for broadband expansion. Core elements of the DigiNet include fibre cable provided with new construction or the renovation of streets as new development areas.
