Digi's Q3 revenue almost flat, profit drops 4.4% year-on-year

Malaysian mobile operator Digi saw its third-quarter revenue slightly decline quarter-on-quarter to MYR 1.57 billion. Revenue slightly increased by 0.1 percent year-on-year. Net profit fell 4.4 percent year-on-year to MYR 368 million in the quarter ended 31 December 2017. Service revenue declined by 0.1 percent over the same period to MYR 1.47 billion. EBITDA fell 0.3 percent year-on-year to MYR 725 million, and the margin declined by 0.2 percentage points year-on-year to 46 percent. Digi decreased its capex for the third quarter by 16.4 percent year-on-year to MYR 127 million.
