Digital ad spend in Spain passes EUR 1 bln milestone in 2014

A total of EUR 1.07 billion was invested in digital advertising in Spain in 2014, around 22.9 percent of the total ad spend, according to the results of a survey conducted by IAB Spain and PWC. The figure represents a 9.9 percent increase on the EUR 878.4 million spent on digital advertising in 2013 and is the first time the total has surpassed the EUR 1 billion milestone. Desktop advertising accounted for 92.9 percent of the digital ad spend, followed by mobile advertising (4.1 percent) and digital signage (3.0 percent).
