Digital books make up just 1.1% of Brazil publishing market

A study by the Foundation for Economic Research (Fipe) has revealed that 2.7 million digital books were sold in Brazil in 2016. The market turnover amounted to around BRL 42.5 million, which is equivalent to 1.09 percent of the national publishing market.
