Digital cable penetration rate reaches 93% of German homes - ANGA

The number of households with an analogue television connections in Germany continues to decline, falling by 750,000 in 2017 to only 1.25 million homes, according to the German cable industry association's (ANGA) 2018 digitisation report. The share of homes receiving digital cable increased 5 percent over the past year meanwhile to 93 percent. By comparison, only 56 percent of German homes received digital cable five years ago, wrote ANGA.
