Digital services improve financial customer service - study

Convenient digital services such as video chat can help people better understand financial products and improve trust, according to new Youbiquity Finance research from BT and Avaya. The research is based on a survey of 3,000 consumers in Germany, Spain and the UK. Digital transformation will allow banks and insurance companies to deliver better services and improve customer relationships. It found that 46 percent of UK consumers now use a PC or MAC once a week or more to check balances, while 27 percent of those surveyed use a smartphone banking app. This is similar to numbers in Germany at
