Digital voice assistants in use to reach 8 bln by 2023

There will be 8 billion digital voice assistants in use by 2023, from 2.5 billion at the end of 2018, according to the latest study from Juniper Research. Smartphone assistants will be the largest platform by volume, driven by Google Assistant and Siri but smart TVs, smart speakers and wearables will be the fastest growing voice assistant categories over the coming five years, with a respective CAGR of 121.3 percent, 41.3 percent and 40.2 percent.
