Djezzy's service revenue decline slows to 3.7% in Q4 as customer growth improves

Veon reported fourth-quarter revenues of DZD 24.1 billion for its Djezzy subsidiary in Algeria, down 1.7 percent year-on-year (-6.7% in Q3). The quarter benefited from one-off adjustments mainly relating to the reversal of a liability towards a vendor. Excluding this favourable impact, revenues would have decreased by 4.5 percent, said the company. The pace of decline in service revenues slowed for a fifth consecutive quarter to 3.7 percent (-5.0% in Q3), despite a 7.4 percent drop in ARPU (-6.4% in Q3).
