DNA promises 80% cut in radio grid emissions by 2020

Finnish operator DNA said it has signed up to Society's Commitment to Sustainable Development, and has undertaken to reduce its total emissions by 15 percent by 2020 from the level reported in 2014. It will buy emission-free renewable energy and improve the energy efficiency of its radio network, data centres and office premises. By 2020, DNA undertakes to reduce the emissions from its radio network in proportion to its data volumes by 80 percent in comparison with 2014.
