DNA runs IoT competition with Finnsementii, Martela and Snellman Pro

Tuesday 17 April 2018 | 12:44 CET | News

Finnish operator DNA said it has teamed up with Finnsementti, Martela and Snellman Pro to run the IoT Next Level competition, which is running under a hashtag. Each firm will name a challenge that three specialist teams must tackle, and a panel comprising company executives and independent experts will select the most suitable solution by the end of May.

The selected product will then be piloted at the company. Finnsementti wants to tackle the challenge of identifying and measuring production data and use them to build the most proactive maintenance tool for each case. Snellman Pro wants to reduce food waste in professional kitchens by making the production and delivery processes more intelligent. Martela wants to define and improve the effectiveness of working environments through the right kind of monitoring, analysis and intelligent modelling.
