DNA says home fixed 5G wireless customers used 75% more data in summer than standard 5G hub

Wednesday 30 December 2020 | 12:26 CET | News
Finnish operator DNA said that customers of its residential 5G fixed wireless service, DNA Koti 5G, use almost 75 percent more data traffic than those on 4G. The Telenor group company's statistics for July and August showed that customers with the DNA Home 5G exterior wall-mounted transceiver used an average of about 576 GB over the two months. This compares with 330 GB for a standard 5G hub user, 168 GB for a 4G device user, and 38 GB for a 3G internet connection customer.
