Dobrindt pushes for free WLAN across Germany

German transport minister Alexander Dobrindt wants to dismantle legal obstacles to the nationwide introduction of free WLAN hotspots in Germany and told faz.net that the "hurdles posed by the new Telemedia Act are too high". In his opinion, the liability for misuse of hotspots does not allow the organisation of free WLAN.
