Docomo develops drone propelled with ultrasonic vibrations

Japanese operator NTT Docomo has developed a blimp-style drone that is propelled through the air with ultrasonic vibrations. The product is expected to be used in homes, concert halls and other indoor spaces. Docomo's propellerless and wingless drone requires helium to remain airborne. The drone can travel forward, backward or up/down propelled via ultrasonic vibrations generated by several small modules to move air.
