Docomo formalises Robi Axiata share transfer to Axiata

Robi Axiata and Japanese NTT Docomo have reached a formal decision to transfer shares in the Robi to Axiata, a week after the original announcement. A high official source from Robi confirmed that an agreement was signed on 29 May between the parties, Dhaka Tribune reported. Robi submitted a formal proposal on 02 June to the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (BTRC) to shrink Docomo's share from 30 percent to 8 percent.
